Rules and regulations for renting a vehicle at Iron Skull Motorcycle

Age - terms and conditions

To rent a scooter 125cc you and a valid EU or International drivers license A1, A or B (3 years)
To rent a motorcycle up till 900cc the minimum age is 25 years and a minimum 2 years old valid EU or International driving license for motorcycle. (Class A)
To rent a Harley Davidson the minimum age is 27 years and a minimum 3 years old valid EU or International driving license for motorcycle. (Class A)

Compensation

In case of an accident where the renter/driver has the fault, the renter/driver has no right to claim another vehicle.
The renter/driver has no right to claim compensation from the hirer.
In case of an accident where the renter/driver does not have the fault, the renter can only claim a replacement of the vehicle for the time left of the rental period if the hirer has a similar vehicle available. Any other claims of compensation are not taken into consideration.
In case of a traffic accident, theft or vandalism, the police must be notified immediately.
In case of an accident, the hirer must fill out the included insurance claim form at the scene of the accident.
In case the hirer does not fill out the form or does not fill it out properly, Iron Skull Motorcycle are entitled to withhold the deposit until all insurance claims are clarified.

Cost of cancellation

Using online-booking a deposit of 50% of the total rent sum is to be paid to our bank account.

The remaining amount is to be paid by credit card at reception of the vehicle. If the reservation is canceled the amount lost will be:

4 weeks before rental period - 50% of deposit.

2 weeks before rental period - 100% of deposit.

Court of justice

Lawsuit will be in the court of justice in Malaga, Spain.

Deposit

€ 2500,00 or stated in the rental contract.
By signing the contract the renter permits Iron Skull Motorcycle to take in the contract agreed deposit from the credit card..

Driving

It is a condition for the renter to respect and observe the traffic rules and regulations, not using the vehicle for racing on a race track, closed track or on a public road.
It is not permitted to drive away from public roads / driving off road, driving on the beach etc.
It is not permitted to drive without a valid EU or International driving license for the vehicle.

NO DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS IS ALLOWED

If Iron Skull Motorcycle or any of the staff suspect that the renter is under influence, by pickup, they can refuse to hand over the vehicle, or ask the renter to give an alcohol or drug test.

IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT UNDER INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL, DRUGS OR PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE, OR DUE TO LACK OF OBSERVANCE REGARDS TO TRAFFIC RULES, STOP SIGNS, WRONG PARKING, SPEED LIMITS, SPEEDING AND HAVEN'T DRIVEN ACCORDING TO THE ROADS CONDITIONS, THE RENTER WILL PAY ALL EXPENSES TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED

Fines and taxes

We keep the credit card details for at least 6 weeks, and by signing the contract the renter permit Iron Skull Motorcycles to take any fines the vehicle may get for the renting period out of the credit card shown by renting the vehicle

Fuel

The vehicle has to be delivered with the same amount (or more) of fuel as by pick up. failing doing so will will be charged with € 100,00

Garage / parking

At parking scooters and motorcycles must be locked with the enclosed keys and lock.

Accessories as helmets and GPS must not be left on/at the vehicle when the vehicle is parked.

Insurance

The only one allowed to drive the rented vehicle, is the hirer unless otherwise granted by the letter.

If this is not respected the insurance covering in case of loss of or damage to the vehicle will be lost.

This includes lack of observance in regards to traffic rules, stop signs, wrongly parking, speed limits, DUI.

Kilometers

Unlimited within Spain, driving if other countries is not permitted unless otherwise permitted in the contract.

Period of validity

Rental contracts for 1 day starts at 10:00 and the vehicle is due to be returned the same day at 18:00.

If the rental period is more than 1 day, the rental period starts at 10:00 and the vehicle is due to be returned at 18:00 on the last day of the rental period.
If the time of return is delayed, the renter will be charged an additional fee of € 50,00 per starting hour after 18:00 am.

Reservation

Reservation will come into force when the deposit is paid and visible on the bank account belonging to Iron Skull Motorcycle

Returning of vehicle

If not agreed otherwise the vehicle is to be returned at Iron Skull Motorcycle, Avd. Carlota Alessandri 146, 29620 Torremolinos, Malaga

Taxes

All taxes are included.
